A fun opportunity to continue managing a mature stand of Eastern White Pines in Biltmore Forest. Trees were inventoried and evaluated with risk ratings. Certain trees were selected for 3D tomography inspections of heart rot and decay. The highest risk trees were climbed, assessed along upper stem and canopy, and pruned for mitigating risk on the tree. This picture shows the view looking out from a 140' + Eastern White Pine.
