NC Trees and Storms: Readiness, Response, & Recovery
is a partnership effort between the NC Forest Service's Urban & Community Forestry Program (U&CF), NC Urban Forest Council, and NC Cooperative Extension Service. The partnership involves the development of outreach materials and guidance to NC communities, tree care professionals, and citizens promoting storm ready urban trees and landscapes and following up with safe and effective response and recovery of trees after a storm hits. This 2-part webinar series for homeowners introduces participants to the concepts of readiness, response, and recovery and how citizens can plan for and mitigate storm damage on their own property.
